MIND Institute to participate in international study of schizophrenia in 22q11.2 deletion syndrome

(SACRAMENTO, Calif.) — Researchers at the UC Davis MIND Institute will participate in an international consortium spanning four continents that will study the genetics of schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders in chromosome 22q11.2 deletion syndrome through a four-year, $12 million grant from the National Institute of Mental Health to the International Consortium on Brain and Behavior in 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome.
